Computer = trouble

My PC is down, and my computer hot line (read: my IT-educated friend) is out of town. Thus I'm barred from the net. And when I'm at job there isn't much time to be blogging. But I try.

I've been working this weekend - as sports editor. In a small rural newspaper it means that I'm the only journalist working sports. And that's fine. But I can't understand why they keep putting the football matches so close to our deadline.

Joke aside. I've been working hard, and haven't been able to keep my posts coming in as usual. I will remedy this in the coming week. (Hopefully my computer hot line will be back from his vacation soon)

Size Matters - Even for Vikings

Even the fearsome Vikings were troubled when it came to their manhood. According to british researchers, the terrifying Norsemen were insecure about the size of their manhoods when things got horny with their Helgas. Apart from the fact that the female name is all wrong (I have never met a Helga in my whole life), it's a funny read.

It seems that even as they cut a swathe through northern Europe, raping and pillaging as they went, the Norsemen were still troubled by the thought that size really did matter.

The research has been done by boffins at Cardiff University.

In one example in Grettir's saga, a serving wench bursts out laughing at seeing Grettir Asmundarson naked. She remarks: "It seems to me extraordinary how small he is below, I would not have believed it if someone had not told me." Grettir defensively points out his big testicles make up for his lack of inches.

Top doc backs picking your nose and eating it

Picking your nose and eating it is one of the best ways to stay healthy, according to a top Austrian doctor.

Innsbruck-based lung specialist Prof Dr Friedrich Bischinger said people who pick their noses with their fingers were healthy, happier and probably better in tune with their bodies. (Ananova)

If you wonder how to pick your nose, just read this.

``To me, nose-picking is like homosexuality--whether or not you do it is your own business, I just don't want you to do it in front of me.''

And so it goes...

Butler let Blair go. I made an interview while the rain was pouring down - yet I was impressed by the leader of Young Labour. Am tired. Will post tomorrow.

Sleep tight.

Pillow fight on my own

After a night on the pubs with a MP, two hours sleep, and ten hours at work, I'm beat. So instead of working a couple of hours on my blog, I'll go home and have a fight with my pillows.

On a different matter, tomorrow I'll be interviewing the leader of the Norwegian Labours youth organisation. I'll let you know if she has anything to say...
